A really USEFUL household project - making bun feet for the settee and chairs
We needed 28 of them, so it became a sort of production line
A sapele blank is cut to octagonal shape on the bandsaw, then mounted between centres
It is turned to a cylinder
Then rounded and sanded, making sure that the profile of all the feet is the same
A coat of sanding sealer and final wax polish
